Franklin County Genealogical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

Meets at 7:00 PM on the 3rd Monday of the month every month.

We meet at 108 Main Street East in the Wayne Bryan Meeting Hall on the 3rd Monday night of each month; unless otherwise specified. We have 153 members. Members receive a newsletter quarterly. Members receive discounts on copies made of our records. We have family history books; family files; historical files; abstract deed records; deed books; obituary books for the city and rural cemeteries.

Hopkins County Genealogical Society

Meets at 7:00 PM on the 3rd Thursday of the month January; February; March; April; May; August; September; October; November & December.

The Hopkins County Genealogical Society; located in Sulphur Springs; are busy working on records contributed by the Hopkins County Clerk’s office; that will be added to their library and Members Only” portion of their website. Also; they are finishing a massive new book; that is over 400 pages; on the 1914 Businesses and People of Sulphur Springs; Texas.

Lamar County Genealogical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

Meetings held at the meeting room beside the library. Members have access to a members’ only part of the website and receive a pdf copy of the annual publication or print if they pay a small mailing fee.
