Each Partner Society is invited to nominate one of its members for recognition as the Volunteer of the Year.
One winner will be selected and receive a $50 cash award plus a plaque. The partner society which nominates the winner will also receive $50.
Judging criteria include:
- 30 points for genealogical or historical research,
- 35 points for service to the society,
- 10 points for service to the community,
- 25 points for service to the local or genealogical library.
The service must have been within the last two years.
The nominee must be a member in good standing in the Partner Society at the time of nomination.
Nominations may be made by letter, booklet, or folder with examples in the form of your choice. Deadline for entries is September 15.
