Bach, Ida Bach-Bauch - Brief bio



Ida Bach immigrated from Germany, arriving in 1880. In 1886 she married Gustav Brandt, another German immigrant who arrived in 1882. He worked as a gardener, and she eventually had a florist shop in San Antonio. They had three children. Although Gustav died in 1918, Ida went on to run her florist shop. They are buried next to each other in the St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery New, San Antonio, Texas.
