Conn - John Thomas Conn - Brief Bio



John Conn came to Texas prior to 1 Oct 1837. He served on the first Grand Jury for Bastrop County, Texas. He received a 2nd class Headright Grant for 1280 acres of land in 1838; land patented to his heirs and located in Burnet and Blanco Counties, Texas. John Conn died in Gonzales County, Texas, and his wife was named administrator of his estate. He may be buried in the City Cemetery in Gonzales, Gonzales County, Texas
