Casbeer-Witt - Josiah Samuel Casbeer and Lavina Adaline Witt - Brief bio



"Joe" and "Vina" were married in Lamar County. By 1865 when their son William "Matt" was born, they had settled in Lampasas. By 1880, they were in Hamilton County. By 1900, they were in Mills County. Descendants of Joe and Vina considered Mills County to be home, although many lived in San Antonio. They lived a simple life, raising a large Texas family.
