Brandt - Gustav Brandt - Brief bio



Gustav Brandt immigrated from Germany, arriving in 1882. In 1886 he married Ida Bach, another German immigrant who arrived in 1880. He worked as a gardener, and she eventually had a florist shop in San Antonio. They had three children. Gustav enlisted in the US Army in 1883. He died in 1918, but Ida went on to run her florist shop, living until 1939.
