Eubank - James Calvin "Jim" Eubank - Brief bio



James Calvin "Jim" Eubank was born in Texas in 1865. He is listed in the household of George W or M Eubank in the 1870 census in Fannin County, Texas, page 11. George Eubank was born in Tennessee around 1835; George is listed in the 1850 Lamar County, Texas, census, page 12, image 271, in the household of James Eubank. James was born 1815 in North Carolina. In 1886, James Calvin Eubank married Georgia McCann in Lamar County, Texas. In 1898, James Calvin Eubank was convicted of counterfeiting in Red River and Lamar County, Texas, and was sent to prison for six years. His prisoner number was 16861 according to Texas Convict Ledgers. He listed his home as Biardstown in Lamar County, married, occupation farmer, and birth year 1865. He was parolled in 1903. James Calvin Eubank had eight children. He died in Dallas, Texas, in 1914.
