Isaac Parino Barrett, Sr. was a general merchant in Mason County, then in Garden City, Glasscock County, Texas, Tolar, Hood County, Texas. He ran a tobacco store in downtown Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. He and his wife are both buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas
