Marietta Emiline Curtis (1804 Kentucky - 1881 Texas)

When Marietta Emiline Curtis was born on 16 April 1804, her father, James, was 34, and her mother, Mary, was 31. She was married three times: (1) 1820, Tennessee, William W. Short; (2) 1832, Alabama, John Butler; and (3) 1852, Smith County, Texas, John K. Reese. She had two sons and four daughters; four children with her first husband and two with her second. She died 30 September 1881 in Parker County, Texas, having lived a long life of 77 years.
