Start your discovery at the Genealogy Fair\, August 19\, 6:30 p.m. at the Community Room in the Stephens Central Library in downtown San Angelo. To jump start the research efforts of a few lucky attendees\, San Angelo Genealogical and Historical Society is giving away door prizes donated by genealogy subscription services. The prizes\, valued at almost $1\,500\, include MyHeritage.com\, Ancestry.com\, GenealogyBank.com\, Newspapers.com and Fold3.com. \n With over 40 exhibits\, the Genealogy Fair promises exciting opportunities for interacting with a wide variety of Concho Valley historical and genealogical organizations.  \nAt the Genealogy Fair\, the San Angelo Genealogical and Historical Society kicks off a new season of genealogy discovery in the Concho Valley\, featuring upcoming events such as Discoveries in Genealogy\, the Spring Genealogy Workshop\, and the always popular Speaker Series.  \nThe Genealogy Fair is the “can’t miss” historical and genealogy event of the year!
