Meets at 2:00 PM on the 2nd Saturday of the month every month.
The East Texas Genealogical Society meets virtually and in-person at the Tyler Public Library – Taylor Auditorium; unless there is a tour scheduled elsewhere. Each meeting has a local expert or nationally known speaker who provides opportunities for the members and the community to learn how to better research and locate their family.

The society meets at the Timpson Area Genealogy Library at 191 Bremond Street. The society provides eight volunteers to help genealogists researching at the library Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. They also publish a quarterly; Tap Root.
