Bosque County Genealogical and Historical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

Meets at 1:00 PM on the second Saturday of the month in January, April, July, and October.

We meet at the Bosque County Genealogical and Historical Society Archives and Library. Our library is a FamilySearch Affiliate Library.  It is located at 9251 Highway 6, Meridian, TX.

Benefits include the Journal: webinars: workshops; access to research help; gravestone cleanings; and field trips.

Central Texas Genealogical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

Meets at 6:00 PM on the 4th Monday of the month January; February; March; April; May; June; July; August; September; October & November.

CTGS meets in person at the West Waco Library & Genealogy Center and via Zoom. The monthly meeting link is posted on the website. Members enjoy special online data on the CTGS website; a printed or digital quarterly; two free programs per month; co-host an annual Spring workshop and the annual Genealogy Lock-in (October). CTGS offers special interest groups for German; Southwestern States; and DNA research. CTGS society is a friends group of the Genealogy Center and co-host programs with their staff.

Coryell County Genealogical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

The Society holds public meetings; offers research assistance; and transcribes and publishes original historical documents or genealogically relevant information, such as cemetery and marriage records. The CCGS also helps maintain the Genealogy Section of the Gatesville Public Library where genealogical materials include books and microfilm on local history and family genealogies, as well as a substantial collection of state and national genealogical books are maintained.

Erath County Genealogical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

Meets at 2:00 PM on the 3rd Saturday of the month in January, April, July and October.

Meets at the Dublin Public Library; 206 W. Blackjack St., Dublin, Texas 76446; guests are welcome at meetings; field trips; Facebook group; monthly email newsletter; member benefits ECGS Genealogy Collection checkout with library card; biannual 75+/- page ECGS Journal; Members Research Connection with contact info.

Pecan Valley Genealogical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

Meets at 6:00 PM on the 2nd Monday of the month every month.

The mission of PVGS shall be for genealogical; literary and educational purposes; to promote and stimulate interest in history through family research; to cooperate with patriotic and heritage societies in the field of family research; to conduct educational programs and to disseminate information to the members and to the public pointing up the importance of history; tradition; family knowledge and pride. To assist financially in the establishment of a genealogical collection and/or knowledge; said collection to be comprised of local; regional; and national genealogical data; to stress research in; gather and preserve genealogical data and vital public records of Brown County and the surrounding areas.

South Central Chapter Association of Professional Genealogists (SCCAPG)

The South Central Chapter APG includes the states, NM, OK, TX, AR, and LA.

The goal of SSC is to further educate genealogists on market trends, professionalism, business, and time management. Opportunities for continuing education and professional development are shared with members.

 

Texas Czech Genealogical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

The Texas Czech Genealogical Society is a very active Society that supports Texas Czechs families, language and culture and is dedicated to promoting the genealogical study of “Texas Czechs,” identify sources and preserve items of genealogical interest. They have quarterly conferences, workshops, and speaker events. They have produced 24 books, each with its unique ISBN.
