There are many ways you can support the Texas State Genealogical Society. Your gift enables us to further educate, preserve and share genealogical information with all who have an interest in researching their Texas ancestry. Your donation provides an important source of funding for Society operations not covered by membership fees. Whether for paying workshop speakers, creating webinars or podcasts, or implementing new programs to better meet the needs of our genealogical community, your financial contribution makes a difference.
TxSGS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your contribution may be fully tax deductible under current federal law. Please check with your tax advisor.

When you join TxSGS or renew your membership, you have option to become part of our Heritage Circle supporters.

- Supporter ($100) – Includes a print edition of Stirpes
- Patron ($250) – Includes a print edition of Stirpes and one free quarter page Stirpes ad per membership year.
- Benefactor ($500) – Includes a print edition of Stirpes and one free quarter page Stirpes ad per membership and name is included in the Benefactor’s page on the TxSGS website.

Honorariums and Memorials
Donations may be made to honor someone designated by the donor. You will have the option to name the Honoree at the time you make your donation. If this is a living person, please include their mailing address so that TxSGS can send them an acknowledgement card.
Bequests
A bequest is one of the easiest and most meaningful ways to make a gift to the Texas State Genealogical Society. Gifts of any size made through a bequest help ensure that the Society receives valuable support in the future, support that will benefit genealogists and historical researchers far in to the future.
Donors can make a bequest by simply including a provision for the Society in their wills or trusts. Donors can choose to give the Society a specific dollar amount, specific property, or a percentage of their estates. Your bequest is a gift not just to the Society but to all genealogists, historical researchers and to your own posterity.
