The following genealogical events are currently scheduled. This calendar includes Partner Societies that are offering one-day or multiple-day workshops and seminars, as well as national and international conferences. It does not include monthly meetings.

Grand Prairie Genealogical Society 2017 “Lock In”

Are you just beginning your family research, or have you hit a “brick wall?” Let experienced researchers assist you. The Grand Prairie Genealogical Society will hold its annual Lock-In on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Main Library from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The event offers free genealogy research using the web sites Ancestry, Fold 3, Family Search and others. Participants will enter the Library before it closes at 6 p.m. and be “locked in” for an evening of research on the library’s many computers.
