Burnet County Genealogical Society

Meets at 1:30 PM on the 3rd Thursday of the month January; February; March; April; May; June; July; September; October & November.

We meet at the Burnet County Agri-Life Building. Membership is $10 a year for one person and $15 for a family. We plan our year every January with input from our members. Programs consist of guest speakers; video programs; helping each others to break down brick walls; etc. We also have a Friday Group who work in the genealogical library filing material and assisting others with research.


Kerrville Genealogical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

Meets at 2:00 PM on the 3rd Wednesday of the month January; February; March; April; May; September; October & November.

The Kerrville Genealogical Society is located at 125 Lehmann; Suite 102; Kerrville; Texas 78028. We are open Tuesdays; Thursdays; and Saturdays from 10 to 4. Help is available for research. The Society has 4 computers with genealogy websites and over 4;000 books; periodicals; vertical files; city & county records; cemetery records; U.S. state & foreign country books; and family histories. We meet at the Upper Guadalupe River Authority auditorium; 125 Lehman Drive; Kerrville; TX. Guest speakers and details can be found at our website .

Society of Sons & Daughters of WWII Veterans

The Genealogical Society of Kendall County; Texas; Inc. (TxSGS Partner Society)

Meets at 10:30 AM on the 3rd Saturday of the month January; February; March; April; May; September; October; November & December.

GSKC meets monthly except for summer months at the Patrick Heath Public Library. The Boerne Texas Family History Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is located in our research center where we also have over 6;000 books; periodicals. microfilm/micro-fiche for Kendall and surrounding counties. Our research center is open 5 days a week; 1 to 4; and second Saturdays from 10 to 4.
