Not only does your TxSGS membership bring you four issues of our fabulous journal, Stirpes, and discounts to our genealogy conferences, your support of TxSGS through membership has far-reaching effects throughout the world of Texas genealogy. Our statewide genealogical initiatives help Texas genealogists by:
- providing virtual and physical conferences to help genealogists learn about new techniques and records;
- promoting publication of genealogical material through our awards program; and
- preserving critical records through grants and preservation equipment loans; and
- supporting a vibrant genealogical community throughout Texas by assisting partner societies in a variety of ways.
