Dining in Houston

At the 2019 Family History Conference, TxSGS is offering a variety of lunch options. Attendees may purchase a box lunch in advance with registration, dine in the hotel restaurant, or venture to a nearby eatery.

Those who purchase Friday or Sunday box lunches will be treated to a light-hearted look at genealogy by Susan Kaufman, Head of the Clayton Library, or Cari Taplin. Learn more ….

With an extended lunch break, attendees also have the opportunity to step away from intensive learning, stretch their legs, chat with other genealogists, and form new friendships over a box lunch or while dining in any of the thirteen restaurants within a mile or so of the conference hotel.

In addition to the hotel restaurant, the list below represents just a smattering of the dining establishments nearby. There are several fast food restaurants in the area as well.
