Stirpes June 2018 Issue Released

TxSGS’s latest issue of Stirpes, the Journal of the Texas State Genealogical Society, recently went out to all TxSGS members and subscribing libraries.

As fans of genealogical research, it is important for us to get in touch with the FANs (“Friends, Associates, and Neighbors”) of our ancestors if we want to get a complete picture ofhow and where they lived. The June 2018 issue of Stirpes emphasizes the importance of joining the genealogical FAN Club to further your research.  It is packed with research articles, partner society and TxSGS news, and more. Read about how to define your ancestors’ FAN club and how other genealogists have discovered hidden gems in their family tree.
